Noti added: "What's so weird about this situation is that the PAC that disbursed so much of its money to one entity that was so clearly affiliated with the PAC. Usually, that's a sign that it's what's come to be known as a 'scam PAC' -- one that's operated for the financial benefit of its operators, rather than one designed to engage in political activity." At the same time, Noti said, Chakrabarti had provided "long descriptions of why they structured it the way they did -- which is not something a scam PAC would do," because it only draws attention to the unusual setup. And Noti cautioned that there is a tendency for some groups to try to gain attention by invoking Ocasio-Cortez. "But on the other hand," Noti added, Ocasio-Cortez's "explanations don't make a lot of sense on their face. I read their explanation multiple times, and I still don't understand. If you want to start a business to provide services to campaigns -- many of those are organized as LLC's, and you sell your services."

“ISIS bride” Hoda Muthana implored President Trump to “study the legal system” as she doubled down on her belief that she’s legally allowed to return to the United States.
Muthana’s message to Trump came in a new interview with CBS News in northern Syria on Monday — the same day her case is set to be heard in a DC federal court.
“I would tell him to study the legal system, because apparently I am allowed back,” the 24-year-old mom said. “I have papers. I have citizenship.”
Muthana was born in New Jersey to Yemeni parents — but ran off to join ISIS in late 2014, urging jihadis to wage war back in the US.
Now, she’s begging to come back home, insisting that she’s an American citizen by birth and should be let into the country with her 18-month-old son.
The State Department, however, has denied her request. She and her lawyers said they’ve been told that the US determined she didn’t qualify for citizenship because her father was a Yemeni diplomat at the time of her birth.
Children who are born in the US to diplomats aren’t automatically granted citizenship.
Late last month, Muthana sued the government in her fight to return to the US. A hearing in the case is scheduled for Monday morning.
“We’re still trying to win the case and hopefully we will,” Muthana told CBS. “I know I am an American citizen and I know I have the right to come back. I have no other citizenship anywhere. Even my own home country I don’t. I’ve never been there (Yemen).”
